Admin Reauthentication: PaperCut MF 23.0 now requires admins to reauthenticate before changing key security settings, such as adding new admin accounts or resetting admin passwords. This helps to protect your system from unauthorised changes.
Hashed Passwords: PaperCut MF 23.0 now hashes all passwords saved to the server.properties file. This makes it more difficult for attackers to crack the passwords even if they are able to gain access to the file.
Upgraded Dependencies: PaperCut MF 23.0 has upgraded all third-party dependencies to the latest versions. This helps to improve the security and supportability of the product.
Increased Privacy Protection: PaperCut MF 23.0 has increased privacy protection when using payment gateways. This includes redacting personally identifiable information (PII) in Worldpay (RBS) Payment Gateway logs.
